Exploring
the world through lens
In
my childhood a friend of my Dad from UK gifted us a Camera. It was Film Camera
of Olumpus. I was in 5th standard then and stared handling it with lots
of excitement. I did not know anything about technical aspects of camera; I
just knew was how to click and what to capture.
I
believe, I have had good sense of photography since my childhood and as I grown up
I started realizing it. I used to click things randomly by following my
instinct, which continued till I get my first Digital Camera. Then I realized
that I have to take my photography skills to the next level by exploring and
learning more about the photography. My passion for photography prompted me to
get the DSLR ASAP as I didn’t want to wait for long to have it. Finally I got my first
DSLR on 15.08.2012. Now I am pursuing my hobby with more passions and
determination. Camera became a one of my best friend now days. Don’t be
surprised if you happen to see me with my buddy Camera most of the time ;-). Having
Camera in my hand makes me feel more confident and special.
In
a day to day life I come across with many things. Some time I notice them,
sometime they left ignored; some moment just passes away without being
considered or noticed, which could have been good shot perhaps if it could have
been captured. After getting into this hobby now I can understand the
importance of observation. As a photography enthusiastic now I started
perceiving the things differently. Now, wherever I look, whatever I see, I see
them from different point of view which I have never been seen them before. Now
I find my surrounding things are so beautiful which I have never been found
that way before.
I
am a Nature lover, and photography helps me to get myself integrated with the
nature and it’s splendid beauty. I find myself close to nature through my lens.
Being close to nature is like being close to our almighty God. Living and non
living creations of nature astonished me with their amazing characteristics and
organized structures of the Universe, which leads me to believe in creator of
the Universe more strongly.
Indeed,
my capacity to love, care and establish peace get increased through
photography. More I click, more I fall in love with thing around me. As of now
I am just beginner in this field, don’t know much about technical aspects of
photography but yes, without worrying of it much I just captures the things
which sounds pleasant to my eyes, soul and mind.
Yes
of course, I want to learn photography with all its technical and non technical
aspects. My wish of learning photography form some expert has ended up with
finding a Vadodara Photography Club on FB (See, one of advantage of being
active on social networking ;-)). VPC consist of amateur and experts
photographers from diversified fields. I am happy to find such group in our own
city. I have now ample opportunity to explore and discover the things so far
photography and places are concerned. Still long way to go, but journey of
learning seems exciting and wish it will go on and on. Isn’t it amazing to do
the things you love most? :-)
